Fine publisher's binding by Edwards of Halifax, full green morocco with red morocco inlays, elaborate scroll work and cornerpieces in gilt, spine tooled and lettered in gilt, gilt turn-ins, a.e.g. Condition: front flyleaf loose, light spotting: light rubbing, edges of spine worn, ownership signature; some preliminaries foxed. Provenance: Maria Cotton (ownership signature). fore-edge painting of fishermen, cattle and a view of St. alban's cathedral in a fine edwards binding.(1)
