London: Longman, 1812. 8vo (210 x 130 mm). Frontispiece. Contemporary tan straight-grained morocco tooled and stamped in gilt, spine stamped in gilt with 5 raised bands, a.e.g. Condition: light offset from plate; minor soiling and rubbing. with a fore-edge painting of the marriage of cupid and psyche modeled after a late 18th century design by Josiah Wedgeood and John Flaxman. Also laid into this volume is a contemporary water-color painting of cherubs.
