Paris: Les Grandes Livres, [1922]. 4to (320 x 245 mm). 72 plates (mostly full page, some in-text comprising the 24 plates in 3 states). Three-quarter brown morocco by J. LeMaire over white boards gilt, spine tooled and lettered in gilt with art-deco styling and blue morocco stamps, original wrappers printed in black and red bound-in. Condition: first print with short-marginal tear; some light rubbing to spine and extremities. Provenance: Andre Morillot (bookplate) one of 51 copies with prints in three states; the story of atlantis found to be ruled by an ageless queen. The states of the prints are as follows: 1st state is commonly issued full page or in text; 2nd state is full page, colored, with remarque; and 3rd state is un-colored with remarque.
