BOSWELL, James (1740-1795). An Account of Corsica. Glasgow: Printed by Robert and Andrew Foulis for Edward and and Charles Dilly, 1768. Engraved title, large folding map. Contemporary calf, rebacked to style, housed in a custom morocco backed slipcase. Condition: map re-attached with very short closed tear at mounting, darkening to pastedowns with slight offset to endpapers and title. Provenance: Presentation copy "To Sir George Preston of Valleyfield Baronet as a mark of real regard from James Boswell"; J. A.
