Condition: spotting to endpapers; jacket price clipped, short closed tears along foot of spine at fold and panels in margins, light chipping along head of spine. Provenance: Dymock's Book Arcade, Sydney. first edition of joyce's final novel, written over a 16 year period. Considered by many to be Joyce's most complex and symbolic work, only 3400 copies were printed of Finnegans Wake, of which 950 were destroyed.
