Imperial German Prussian curass armor

R-10 Imperial Prussian curass. "Polished" steel frontplate with an inner border of 34 domed brass bosses. Two brass ball/posts to accommodate the "key holes" of the brass "fishscale" shoulder straps. Bullet test dent near front center. Lower side marked "Wilh. Jaeger" and "A 52". Shoulder marked with a crowned "FW". Original burlap type lining, with a pocket, marked "1854". Matching back plate with an inner border of matching domed brass bosses. Hinged brass fishscale shoulder straps. Side and shoulder marked as above. Original burlap type lining. (Issued during the reign of Friedrich Wilhelm IV). A scarce set. Condition II $1,800.00
