D-33 Hunting Association subordinate's cutlass. Gilt acorn insignia on stag grip. Relief oak leaf decorated reverse "D" knuckle-bow - culminating into a deer hoof. Clam-shell type guard with a relief elk. Squirrel logo "Eickorn - SOLINGEN" on blade etched with panels depicting a deer and a boar hunt. Excellent, except for 2 small dark spots towards tip. Brass throat (acorn frog hook) and tip engraved with an elk. Silver wire /green cord portopee. (This exact dagger was pictured on page 180, volume 5 "Collecting the Edged Weapons of the Third Reich" by Ltc. Thomas M. Johnson). Condition II $650.00
