Japanese Katana samurai sword

D-76 Katana. 25 7/8" clean blade. Subdued straight temper line. Minor wear. Silvered habaki. Tang is signed "Kazu Nori - August 1944". Standard army officer fittings - gilt floral work on metal pommel cap/swivel and "mum" decorated ferrule and gilt brass tsuba. Brown cord wrapped white pebbled fishskin grip with gilt "mum" menuki. Olive drab metal scabbard shows some wear. Standard type band/ring, lower band, and "open" type drag. Condition II $450.00
