D-78 Army WWII Katana. Brown cord wrapped white sharkskin grip - with "mum" menuki. Typical military floral decorated pommel and tsuba. Tang is signed "Naga Mitsu" and stamped with an Osaka arsenal marking. 24" gray blade with the lower 7 1/2" pitted. Copper habaki. Brown leather covered wood scabbard. Tan/blue-gray portopee.
