German Prussian M1889 Infantry sword
Description
D-96 Prussian M1889 Infantry officer's sword. Slanted brass pommel cap, with a knuckle-bow with an open guard bearing a Prussian eagle. Crowned "WR II" affixed to the twisted wire wrapped shark skin grip. 31 1/4" straight blade with double fullers. Unfortunately, the ricasso area has been ground and the edge sharpened. One ringed black steel scabbard had the lower portion repainted some time ago. Condition II- $100.00
