D-98 Imperial German Cavalry officer's "sabel". Nickeled backstrap/pommel, reverse "P" knuckle-bow, crossguard/shield shaped langet. Twisted wire-wrapped fishskin grip. 33" clean curved blade etched with military motifs. Nice quality. Some dark spots on tip. Nickel is peeling from two-ring scabbard in two areas. Circa 1890-1900. About condition II $250.00
