C-10 "Vorschlag" (Recommendation) for the German Cross in Gold - for SS-Sturmbannfuhrer Dietrich Ziemssen of SS-Panzer Grenadier Regiment Westland (5th SS Panzer Division "Wiking"). Includes ranks held and awards won. Signed by SS-Sturmbannfuhrer August "Dieckman" (Knights Cross with Oak Leaves), the regimental commander and Divisional Commander Felix "Steiner" (recipient of the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords). Dated "29. 7. 1943". (At this time the entire division was involved in actions between Kharkov and the Dnieper.) Condition II $200.00
