French grenadier bearskin helmet

E-6 French grenadier bearskin helmet. Excellent body with a silvered flaming grenade insignia affixed to a gilt starburst. Brass chin scales (right side small back strap is missing). Gilt star bosses. Short leather visor. Large orange-red pom-pon at top. Gilt brass flaming grenade on a 5 1/4" diameter red roundel affixed to back top of helmet. 6" tall white feather bush affixed to left side. Supple black leather drawstring liner. 12 3/4" tall. Original green circular tin storage container - stenciled in white "74". Circa 1880. Excellent condition. Condition I $1,000.00
