German Saxon Infantry officer helmet

E-12 Saxon Infantry officer. Solid black leather body with one surface "spider" and some creazing where the flat gilt brass chinscales touch the top of the visor. All frosted silver crowned Saxon arms within an oak leaf wreath on a convex gilt starburst frontplate. Gilt brass spine, visor trim and tall spike/round base with gilt stars. Both correct "crinkle" type Saxon and National rosettes. Tan leather sweatband and a green silk "split" type lining (one small tear). Overall in very good condition. Condition II $1,850.00
