Imperial German Saxon musician helmet

E-13 Saxon reserve officer musician. Excellent solid black leather helmet. Large gilt crowned Saxon arms within an oak leaf wreath on a silver cross - affixed to a gilt convex starburst frontplate. Gilt brass convex chinscales/bosses, spine, visor trim and trichter/base with gilt stars. Red buffalo hair parade bush. Correct "crinkle" type Saxon and National rosettes. Tan leather sweatband (name has been crossed out with an ink pen) and black silk "split" type lining. A fine example. Condition I $2,250.00
