German Luftwaffe M1940 helmet

E-27 Luftwaffe M1940 single decal helmet. Eagle/swastika decal is 85% in spite of the patches of rust. Metal liner band is rusted and leather chinstrap is missing. Helmet is signed by two WWII members of the 501st Infantry Parachute Regiment (John Hair and Bill Lutz - both Co. B) and three members of the 506th (including Bill Gurrnare of Easy Company, Fred Baklan and Alex Andros - Co. H). Autographs were obtained at the Trigger Time Convention in Philadelphia, PA. in August, 2009. With a letter on the acquisition and photos of each of the named individuals signing the helmet. Signatures are perfect. (Vendor will donate all proceeds from the sale of this helmet to help send a 101st Veteran, Clancy Lyall, for "one last trip" to Europe.) Helmet would rate condition III $100.00
