G-3 - Imperial Russian porcelain plate. Colorful center portrait of Czar Alexander II - wearing a military uniform with several awards, including a Pour le merite. Title "THE CZAR LIBERATOR". Two minor chips on the "crinkle" edge. Five groupings of flowers on the slanted border. Chips are evident on the underside. Marked with a company logo "COMTE HARRACH - ST. PETERSBOURG". 9 1/2" diameter. (Alexander II reigned 1855-1881 and is known for his emancipation of the serfs. He was assassinated in 1881.) About II.....$200.00
