S-24 - Lot relating to the China aspect of career officer Allan J. Kennedy who served in WWI, China, and WWII. Includes: (1) 1925 Special delivery letter to Kennedy form the War Department. (2) 1927 "EXTRACT" showing Kennedy's assignment to China. (3) December 1, 1929 three-page "STRENGTH REPORT OF FOREIGN FORCES IN NORTH CHINA". (4) 4 1/4" x 11 7/8" brass plaque, with "ALLAN J. KENNEDY U.S. ARMY" and Chinese characters. (5) Red passport of Kennedy, as a member of the Consulate General at Tientsin, China. With photos and stampings of France, China, UK, and Egypt. Dated "1930". (6) Three photos - one dated 1927 in China, one WWI period and one post-WWII in a white uniform. II.....$50.00
