S-27 - Army formal blue dress tuxedo with "tails" coat of Col. Allan J. Kennedy. Black silk open-faced lapels. "Pointed" front with four gilt quality eagle buttons. Cuffs have a light blue stripe with gold "tape" borders and relief embroidered gold bullion crossed rifles - under a 7 1/4" high gold bullion "trefoil". "Split" tails have four matching gilt eagle buttons. Quality custom silk lining with a Chinese tailor's label - "Ching Chong - TIENTSIN". (Circa 1929 - 1930 when Kennedy was stationed in China.)
