S-42 - US WWII Navy medal group: (1) DFC - un-named. (2) Air Medal. Un-named. (3) Pair. Dog tags - "CLARK, WILLIAM RAYMOND, JR. 802-48-98 0 T-9/43 U.S.N.R.". (4) Two naval rating patches. (Clark was a member of the VF-16 "FIGHTING AIREDALES". He saw service aboard the U.S.S. Lexington CV-16 on October 1943 - March 1944 during which time the VF-16 was credited with 186 kills.
