A-4 Columbia label phonograph record, presented to Adolf Hitler on his birthday. "EINZUG DER GASTE aus 'Tannhauser'" ("Grand March from 'Tannhauser'") by Richard Wagner, performed by the German Northeast Workers Choir. (Tannhauser was Hitler's favorite Wagnerian Opera). Handwritten ink dedication on paper label - "Meine freund, Meine Fuhrer - K. Eintracht - 20. 4. 34". "K. Eintracht" has not been identified, but his spelling of Mein with an "e" may indicate Sudetenland or Volksdeutsche origins. 11 7/8" diameter. Nicely mounted, with the original paper sleeve, on a felt background 23" x 18 3/4" wood frame. Record was acquired by 1st Lt. D. C. Watts of the 506th Parachute infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, at the Berghof, Berchtesgaden. With an affidavit from the consignor. Condition II.....$300.00
