Exceptional portrait Hermann Goring ivory

A-17 Expertly done painting on ivory of Luftwaffe General Hermann Goring. Side profile, which is an excellent likeness. Subject is wearing a white lapeled Luftwaffe General's tunic. Pronounced white collar tab with three gold "gulls" within a gold oak leaf wreath. Signed "W. Hartmann". Domed glass cover, floral decorated inner brass frame, set into recessed oval of the ivory frame. Black cloth backing is intact and has not been disturbed. Overall 5 1/2" x 4 3/4". Condition I.....$4,000.00
