A-21 Cigarette lighter taken from the desk of Hitler's Personal Secretary, Reichsleiter Martin Bormann, at Berchtesgaden. Art deco, solid silver round ball form with an orange/black finish, giving the appearance of agate. Three silver center stripes and two semi-circles with the initials "MB" decorate the side. The inside portion of the lighter is marked "SARASTRO FORTUNA". Some of the finish is worn in several areas. Overall, shows some age. With the name of the G.I. who acquired this lighter, as well as a written note from him, five period photos of the American G.I. - taken in 1945, three portrait photos and a grouping of his uniform insignia, collar discs and ribbon bars.
