Scarce Lionel prewar O gauge passenger outfit no. 5224E, circa 1935 containing; 616E power unit with a red die cast top, 617 coach, 618 observation, two 616T vestibules in individual OBs and set box with operating booklet. Also included is an empty UTC lockon OB, a Type A 60-watt transformer with instruction sheet and original cardboard insert and 88 controller in individual OBs. This is the harder to find version of the Flying Yankee set with painted aluminum smooth sides. The set is C6-7. The loco OB is sealed on one end and has staining. The car OBs are clean with repaired flaps. The set box is sealed on the bottom. There is some tape residue on sides and the label is full intact.
