Chinese Scholar Inkstone w/Hand Carvings

Unusually-shaped, dark-colored inkstone features a deeply-carved well and a variety of motifs hand-carved in low relief, China, twentieth century; marked with incised calligraphy on the bottom.

Dimensions: 1-1/8"H x 8"W x 6"D

Appears well-used; areas of scratching, wear and ink staining, with occasional chipping.
