1860.The Will of Baroness Byron, widow of the Poet

1860. Probate of The Will and Codicil of Anne Isabella, Baroness Noel Byron, widow of the Poet, George Gordon Byron (1788-1824). manuscript, 8pp Vellum 64 by 74cm., 25 by 29in. Anne Isabella Millbanke, a cousin of Lady Caroline Lamb with whom Byron had had a tempestuous relationship, married the poet in 1815 but the marriage broke up and the couple separated in 1816, but never divorced. This document extracted by Dyke and Stockes.
