1915 Mention in Despatch by Field Marshal Sir John French of "Gallant and distinguished Service". Certificate. 22 by 19cm., 8.5 by 7.5in. Awarded to Private (later Doctor) Vernon T. Roberts, of Ballycorus, Co. Dublin (his family owned mines there), who was serving with The Royal Army Medical Corps. Also with this lot two photographs of Roberts in uniform.
