1914 (6 April - 3 August) Thomas Ashe - A Valuable collection of 6 letters from America to Pádraig Ó Dálaigh, Gaelic League, Dublin. manuscript mainly on Gaelic League, New York, Paper, 12 sheets 28 by 22cm., 11 by 8.5in.

Provenance: Nora Ashe; thence by descent In Irish and English concerning Ashe's work in raising funds for the Gaelic League. He mentions difficulty in competing for funds with the Irish Volunteers and The Home Rule movements. He suggests putting in "moving picture" shows in the US, showing "football or Hurling", "Volunteers drilling" etc. Much interesting content.
