1922 (July) "Cathal Brugha...Killed in Defence of the Irish Republic" handbill issued shortly after he died in a gun battle in Dublin. letterpress 22 by 13cm., 8.5 by 5in. Scarce. "Conquer the Agents of Churchill and Lloyd George". Cathal Brugha died of gunshot wounds after fighting in what is now Cathal Brugha Street off O'Connell Street. Dublin.
