Photographs: 1899 Presentation Album

Photographs: 1899 Presentation Album to George Clampett from "His Friends in Eason & Sons, Dublin". This album has an illuminated presentation inscription on the first page which reads: "Presented to Mr. George Clampett with the accompanying purse of sovereigns On the occasion of his marriage, with the best wishes of his friends in Messrs Eason & Son Ltd. September 2nd 1899". Mainly early 1900 portrait photographs, which with a few exceptions are of members of the Clampett family. Altogether there are 26 large and 18 smaller photos. Some photos, including one of a woman seated aboard ship are in postcard form (this particular one taken by Roe McMahon of Harcourt Street, Dublin), others include portraits by Lawrence, William McCrae, Lauder Bros, Glover, Keogh, Stanley as well as a few non Irish photographers.
