1936. Handpainted Co. Donegal Cinema Poster for "The Dawn, Ireland's Fight for Independence", Starring Tom Cooper, Eileen Davis and Donal O'Cahill. gouache on paper 74 by 102cm., 29 by 40in. Directed and produced for Hibernia Films, by Tom Cooper. Filmed in the Killarney area in 1934-35. The Dawn was the first full-length indigenous Irish feature film with sound.
