Clementine Hunter(1887-1988), "Flowering Plants," c. 1980, oil on board, painted over a newspaper picture of the artist with Francois Mignon, from 1962, originally from Clementine's house, signed l.r., framed, H.- 11 in., W.- 14 in.
Condition reportPiece in overall good condition. Apparent pencil line in white over right hand side of the flowers. Tears to the edges of newspaper clipping where it was removed from the paper. There are slight small red lines in the upper right of the white area, possibly from the artist.
