American Trompe-l'Oeil Oil Raymond Whyte

Trompe-l'oeil painting shows a niche containing a small bronze sculpture of a horse and an arrangement of red carnations in an ornately-decorated vase, oil on board, signed RA Whyte (American, 1923-2002) at lower right; signed again on the stretcher and dated May 1965.

Dimensions: Image area 8"W x 16"H, with frame 12-7/8"W x 20-3/4"H
