Vase with polychrome decoration featuring a dragon and the Asian mythological bird-like creature the fenghuang on a predominantly yellow ground with flora elements as well, porcelain, China, ca. twentieth century; marked on bottom in underglaze blue.The fenghuang is considered a female entity and often paired with the dragon, a male entity.

Dimensions: 7-3/4"H x 3-3/4"W x 1-3/4" diameter at base
