French pine trunk, early 19th c., a rounded top with flanking sideboards affixed by large nail heads, all attached to the body with hand forged hinges, the carcass of four single boards held by hand dovetailed joinery, original lockplate and lock present, resting on a scalloped base with long bun feet, the interior with a lift box and two drawers providing more storage, 23.5"h, 52"w, 23"d, (C22017)
