Small hand painted porcelain plaque/plate decorated with blue-eyed Victorian woman in hand carved wooden frame. Label on back reads: "A China Painting; Bought by Josephine M Zeller and Fredericka Zeller at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. The frame is hand-carved, and was brought from Switzerland by the above in 1902." - frame is deep-walnut frame with heavy carving of flowers and fruits/vegetables - Plate measures 5" diameter, frame measures 8-1/2" diameter x 1 1/2" deep. Condition reportPlate is in excellent condition. Frame is in great condition showing only slight wear and a small crack in the top only of the frame.
