Georgian Carved Giltwood Looking Glass, fourth quarter 18th century and later, of oval form in the manner of Robert Adam (1728-1792), retains the tastefully disintegrated plate, the gilded finish largely worn through to the underlying ivory bole, the tall cresting modeled as a vine-mantled ribbed vase in the Antique style, h. 40-1/2", w. 19-3/4".
