Two Meissen Porcelain Figures, second quarter 20th century, one a good, large Meissen figure of a full-coated polar bear, l. 9"; and the other a smaller Meissen figure of a saluting elephant, l. 6-1/4"; both pieces with the Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue on the bases.
Condition reportTwo Meissen Porcelain Figures: The polar bear has a hairline crack behind one of the ears. One dot-like minor surface chip below one shoulder. Very minor soiling. The elephant has a very minor dot-like chip below the lip. Minor soiling and very minor roughness to base.
