Three-Piece French Rouge Royal Marble Mantel Garniture, fourth quarter 19th century, the parcel-gilt and bronze-patinated spelter-mounted garniture in the Louis XVI taste, the set composed of a mantel clock surmounted with a double-patinated spelter group of "La Triomphe de la Verite" after Ernest Rancoulet (French, 1854-1915), the circular dial of the clock with black Arabic chapters and a polychromed floral garland, h. 22-1/2", w. 13-1/4", d. 10-1/2", and a pair of flanking oviform bronze-patinated two-handled vases on matching marble bases, h. 13".
