Suite of Eight George III-Style Mahogany Dining Chairs, mid-20th century, consisting of two armchairs and six sidechairs, each with a shaped and foliate-carved crest above an elaborately carved and pierced splat, the padded leather seats raised on cabriole legs headed by foliate carving and ending in scrolled toes, h. 37-1/2".
Condition reportSuite of Eight George III-Style Mahogany Dining Chairs: All are in very sturdy condition throughout. They are scattered scuffs and dings consistent with age and use. No sign of damage or repairs. They are heavy chairs and have good carved details. The leather seats show some where and minor distress from use. No tears, but good overall patina.
