Napoleon III Bright- and Matte-Gilded Brass Mantel Clock, third quarter 19th century, featuring a boy gleaner in the Louis XVI style, presented in a period blown arched glass parlor dome on an elliptical black-lacquered wooden base, retains the period brass winding key, h. 19-3/4", w. 19", d. 12".
Condition reportNapoleon III Bright- and Matte-Gilded Brass Mantel Clock: Retains a beautiful gilt surface. No evidence of damaged or repaired parts. The dial is missing the minute hand. Winding key is present. It dates to 1860-1870.
