Pair of French Bronze Four-Light "Putto" Candelabra, fourth quarter 19th century, of large scale in the Louis XVI taste, each modeled as a winged putto holding aloft a reticulated vase from which emanate the scrolling candlearms, each candlearm fitted with a colorless cut glass bobeche, the bronze deux-couleur gilded, now electrified and fitted with "old ivory" faux candles, h. 27", w. 11-12", d. 10-1/2".
Condition reportPair of French Bronze Four-Light "Putto" Candelabra: Good original "as found" surface. The candle sockets and bobeches have been drilled for later wiring. Two of the later glass bobeches are missing. Very good quality. They date to 1860-1880.
