American Mahogany and Mixed Woods Inlaid Baby Grand Piano, labeled "Hallet & Davis, New York", early 20th century, in the Louis XV style, the lid and body with inlaid motifs, raised on cabriole-form legs, formerly a player piano, h. 40-1/4", w. 55-1/2", l. 63"; accompanied by a Louis XV-style mahogany and parcel-gilt caned piano stool.

American Mahogany and Mixed Woods Inlaid Baby Grand Piano: In "as found" condition and needing restoration. The veneered and inlaid surface shows areas of lifting and losses to the inlay possibly from moisture or a plant pot. Some damage and losses to the carving along the left side of the ease from moving. Veneer losses and chips along the edge. Some sun fading to the top. The second octave of keys in the bass portion are stuck and some are out of alignment. The caned piano stool has damage to the caned seat and dryness with loss of finish around feet.
