Pair of English Two-Light Girandole Sconces, composed of carved giltwood and mirrored glass in the manner of Thomas Johnson (1714-1778), the giltwood candlesockets of tulip form and supported on curvilinear gilded wrought-iron stems, fitted for electrical wiring, h. 33", w. 18-1/2".
Condition reportPair of English Two-Light Girandole Sconces: Both are in very good condition. No damage, no repairs. The gilded surface is excellent. Nicely rubbed giving them a good overall patina. They are strung with electrical wiring but do not have sockets.
