After Dimitri Chiparus (Rumanian, 1888-1950, Worked in Paris), an Art Deco patinated bronze figure of an exotically clad dancer, presented on a satin-polished Grand Antique marble and black slate base of truncated pyramidal form, the base of the bronze signed at the proper left rear corner "D. Chiparus", h. 25-1/2", w. 8", d. 5".
