Switzerland, 1883-1964) "Blue Jay on a Forsythia Branch", oil on canvas, signed lower right, presented in a gilded wooden frame in the neoclassical taste, h. 13-1/2", w. 11-1/2"; and the other by Thomas Morrison (American, b. 1946, works in Louisiana) "Great Horned Owl", watercolor, third quarter 20th century, signed right, presented in a chocolate-edged yellow mat within a verdigris-painted and stained fruitwood frame, h. 19-1/4", w. 15-1/2".
