Suite of Fourteen Edwardian Ebonized and Caned Dining Chairs, ca. 1900, consisting of two armchairs, h. 33-1/2", and twelve sidechairs, h. 33-1/2", each with a rounded crest above a demi-lune caned back centered by a floral medallion, the caned seats raised on circular saber legs, the whole with gilt geometric accents.
Condition reportSuite of Fourteen Edwardian Ebonized and Caned Dining Chairs: All are in very good sturdy condition. No signs of any breaks, damage or repairs. The original paint decoration in tact. Could not find any breaks to the caning. Minor imperfections to the painted surface from use. A remarkable set of chairs.
