Edwardian Mahogany and Exotic Woods Lady's Desk, ca. 1900, the rectangular top with an inset leather writing surface and bowed center section above a conforming frieze fitted with a central drawer flanked to either side by a small deeper drawer, all banded and with scrolling foliate inlays, raised on tapering square legs ending in brass caps and casters, h. 29", w. 42", d. 21-5/8".
Condition reportEdwardian Mahogany and Exotic Woods Lady's Desk: In good condition overall. There is a small piece of the veneered banding gone at the back left edge of the top, approx. 1/4" x 1/4". Another strip of banding gone to the top of the right leg. Minor wear and imperfections to the leather top. Overall sturdy.
