Pair of Kuang Hsu White Marble Figures of Foo Dogs, first quarter 20th century, the fierce animals depicted seated, each presented on an elaborately carved Chinese hardwood base of oblong quadrupedal form, the white marble with green flecks, h. 7-1/2", w. 3-3/8", l. 4-1/2".
Condition reportPair of Kuang Hsu White Marble Figures of Foo Dogs: Roughness to edges of base. Long shrinkage crack along one side of one wooden stand. Both stands with minor edge abrasions. Foo Dogs with minor surface scratches and soiling. Appear to have no repairs.
