American Rococo Revival Rosewood Armoire, third quarter 19th century, New York, possibly made by J. and J. W. Meeks, the arched top with an elaborate pierced and carved crest, flanked by large finials, the single mirrored door opening to a bird's-eye maple interior fitted with four shelves, h. 105", w. 47", d. 22".
Condition reportAmerican Rococo Revival Rosewood Armoire: In good refinished condition. Minor veneer chips to the top left corner of the door. The brass pulls on the drawer are replacements. Minor chips and small carving losses down the corners. Comes apart.
